Top African gospel artistes to bless Zim

HARARE - Multiple award-winning international gospel worship queen and Believers LoveWorld (BLW) president Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s lead praise and worship singer, Osinachi Kalu, will next Friday lead a team of African gospel musicians in an “All Night Show”.

Current top Nigerian gospel-rock artistes Frank Edwards and Joe Praize and many others will stage the “All Night Show” at the Harare International Conference Centre next week on Friday, September 28.

The gospel artistes all from BLW congregation also known as Christ Embassy Church will perform in Zimbabwe after performing in South Africa.

The gospel musicians will bring with them to Harare an anointed show billed to be the greatest gospel show in Zimbabwe yet and which is expected to impact on the lives of many, irrespective of race, status or religion as they experience a transformation — a devine metamorphosis of lives.

Reports from South Africa indicate that tickets for the weekend show are already sold out.

Gospel minister and song writer Kalu popularly known as Sinach is key to Pastor Chris outreaches, crusades and miracle healing sessions.  

A major highlight in her career was in the United Kingdom at one of Pastor Chris ‘‘Atmosphere for Miracles” healing sessions.  She was instructed by the anointed pastor, to sing for a cancer-stricken woman manifesting in the miraculous healing of the sick woman.

The video is featured on BLW Christian satellite television channel LoveWorld which has a viewership of more than 50 million around the world.

Zonal pastor for Christ Embassy Zimbabwe Pastor Ruth Musarurwa announcing the gospel crusade to Zimbabwe during the Saturday morning church service described the divine synergy between Pastor Chris and Sinach saying, “Sinach worships and Pastor (Chris) releases the annointing.”

So popular is Sinach that more than 2 500 tickets had been bought by Sunday afternoon by Christ Embassy members only before they went up for sale to the public on Monday.

The tickets for the show are going for $50 for the VVIP, $25 VIP, $15 semi VIP and $10 for ordinary.
Pastor  Ruth also thanked the regional pastor for southern Africa Pastor Ose Oyakhilome for bringing the show to Zimbabwe.

“I want to thank the regional Pastor Ose for this grace” said the Zimbabwean pastor on Sunday after announcing on sunday that tickets for the show will be available to the public on Monday.

Meanwhile, the Daily News witnessed long queues at the church’s head office in Belvedere on Sunday and interviewed church member Mtandazo Dube who was in the queue, “This anointed woman will change the lives of many who attend the show, we are going to witness many miracles from the gospel ministers. It is a sure sign that Pastor (Chris) is on his way to Zimbabwe,” Dube seemed to sum up the expectant mood of those queuing.

 Sinach is a key member of the LoveWorld music team of Christ Embassy and started singing at a very young age. However, it was not until she met the man of God, Pastor Chris, did she know that she had a calling and then began her training towards using her talent for ministry.

For over 15 years Sinach has been privileged to witness, firsthand, amazing miracles take place in the lives of people while ministering in music, as her mentor Pastor Chris ministered in the Healing School, several crusades, and conventions all over the world.

She is a multiple-award winning song writer, recording artiste, producer and worship song leader who believes in writing from her heart and knowing what the Spirit of God is saying to the Church, and has written over 300 songs which are heard consistently all over the world.

She currently organises live worship concerts with her team from the LoveWorld music in different cities with huge attendants where she leads many in songs of praise and worship lifting up the name of our Lord Jesus.

Frank Edwards is currently Nigeria’s hottest gospel-rock artiste and also plays several musical instruments and is a keyboardist in Christ Embassy Church.

His debut album The Definition was released in 2008. It is a 14-track album and was distributed by Honesty Music. Angels on the Runway, his second album was released in 2010 and another one, Unlimited in 2011.

He also released tagjam in November 2011 which he especially made for the young at heart.

Joseph Omo Ebhodaghe, popularly known as Joe Praize, is a gospel music minister who reflects that in the songs he sings.

He is a praise and worship leader in the BLW ministry who released his first single Great and Mighty God in 2007 and has ministered in music in several countries including South Africa,  Canada, United Kingdom, United States, Nigeria, Ghana others. - Albert Masaka
