HARARE - High-riding dendera prodigy, Suluman Chimbetu will tomorrow night hog the limelight in Kwekwe, where he is billed to put up a five-star performance officially launching Auto Worx, an entertainment joint.

Sulu as he is known to his fans, has become the youngest goodwill ambassador in the country with musical background.

He will be supported by his much revered uncle Allan Chimbetu and his Orchestra Dendera Kings band.

The youthful artiste is generally considered the smartest in the dendera family and was recently endorsed as the brand ambassador for Greencard Medical Aid Society (Greencard).

Auto Worx is a newly opened entertainment catchment which doubles as a car fitment centre.

“Sulu earned the favour to come and perform on the day, after an extensive search for someone with the capability to promote our newly opened multipurpose amusement park. His understanding and dedication to charity and his engagement in community involvement projects assured us that he was indeed the ordained ambassador,” said Mashonganyika.

He however, said bringing new skilled artistes to Kwekwe will inspire young artistes to enhance their careers as this will offer them an opportunity to view exemplary performances.

“We also assessed his achievements and we established that he will be able to inspire the young and upcoming artistes in our province hence maintaining the values of the entertainment industry,” Mashonganyika said.

Auto Worx, an up market joint is situated in Kwekwe’s light industrial area along Parson Street.
“It is the first of its kind in the small town.

In a separate interview Sulu’s public relations manager Joe Nyamungoma said their involvement at the launch revealed that Sulu was making a mark in the entertainment scene.

“All is in place for the concert; as usual we are going to put up a five-star performance.

“This is going to be an exclusive for all our dendera fans in the Midlands province and surrounding area.

“We will also use the platform for our fans to sample our upcoming music projects.

“We expect to excite our fans,” said Nyamungoma.

Speaking ahead of the launch that is expected to be graced by top government officials, Mashonganyika said he has put extra sanitary facilities in place to ensure that people will be comfortable during the event.
