Hunt disappointed at Benjani’s disappearance
Friday, 28 September 2012 13:23
HARARE - Supersport United coach Gavin Hunt says he is disappointed at the disappearance of former Manchester City striker Benjani Mwaruwari from training.

Mwaruwari had been training with United with the intention of signing for them this season, however, it looks like the former Jomo Cosmos striker has had a change of heart.

After watching his team firing blanks in front of goal in the Tshwane Derby against Mamelodi Sundowns on Wednesday night, Hunt conceded that he needed a player like Benjani to lead his strike force.

“We needed a player of his calibre in the team,” Hunt said.

“We were still looking at him and were keen to bring him on board. However, he has disappeared and I am disappointed.” — KickOff.com
