Buffaloes to beef up squad
Tuesday, 05 February 2013 10:59
HARARE - Buffaloes will hold final trials this week as the club seeks to reinforce its squad for the upcoming 2013 season.

The Mutare side’s head coach Saul Chaminuka is looking to acquire at least five players with top-flight experience in an effort to better their sixth place finish of last season.

“We are going to sign five talented players to beef up our squad. We don’t want to change the whole team because last season the boys did well,” Chaminuka told the Daily News yesterday.

“We have short-listed some players whom we think will add depth to the team. However, final selection will be this week. We need to strength our strike force because last season we failed to live up to expectations in that department.” - Sports Writer
