Hwange restructures coaching staff
Thursday, 11 October 2012 13:21
HARARE - Struggling Castle Premiership side Hwange have restructured their coaching department as they battle to save the team from relegation.

Hwange assistant coach Mabelo Njekwa has been redeployed to the Under-20 side that competes in the Southern Region Division One league.

Chipangano have recalled Brian Njovu from the Under-20 side and he will now be coach Nation Dube’s assistant.

This latest restructuring also comes hot on the heels of technical director Tenant Chiluba’s resignation from the club following a poor run of form.

Chipangano find themselves in a precarious 12th place on the log just two points ahead of Blue Rangers, who occupy the last relegation slot.

The 2-0 home defeat at the Colliery to Dynamos last Sunday was Hwange’s seventh defeat on the trot in the league.

They last won a match when they beat CAPS United 3-2 at the Colliery on August 8, a result that cost former Makepekepe coach Sean Connor his job.

The coal miners only have five games to save their Premiership status or else they will drop to Division One. - Mercy Mujakachi
