Bring forth your grievances: SRC
Sunday, 20 January 2013 11:20
HARARE - The Sports Recreation Commission (SRC) has called on national sports associations with grievances over a stormy selection directive to approach its offices instead of “fighting their cases in the media.”

This comes after SRC issued a directive last week which states that only people who have represented the country at international level in any sporting discipline would be considered for a position on the panel of selectors.

SRC spokesperson Tirivashe Nheweyembwa said: “No one has formerly approached us, we are only reading about this in the newspapers. Those who are facing challenges in as far as the directive is concerned must approach the SRC, our mandate is to help everyone and ensure a conducive environment for the development of sport in the country. Our director will however, issue a full statement.” - Blessings Mashaya
