‘Buffaloes will bounce back’
Sunday, 12 May 2013 12:11
HARARE - Buffaloes coach Saul Chaminuka says last weekend’s Castle Premiership defeat to Highlanders will not spark a slide at the Mutare side.

The army side crashed to a 3-0 defeat to Bosso to see their five-match winning streak go up in smoke.

Chaminuka said his team will bounce back strongly against How Mine at Luveve Stadium on Sunday.

“In every season, there is a certain time you come under pressure,” Chaminuka told the Daily News yesterday.

It is a hard, gruelling season. We have to be able to deal with that. We have the squad to do it.

“I feel the way we started shows the character we have in this squad. We have put the Highlanders game behind us.”

Buffaloes we be without Admire Dzumbunu, Prosper Matizanadzo and Wonder Sithole, who are injured.

Chamunika insisted his team will be in with an excellent shout for the title this season.

“We have the stamina to win the league, looking at how we have started this season. We have been working hard and I believe we are on the right track.” - Blessings Mashaya
