Chidzambwa faces the axe
Wednesday, 31 October 2012 11:06
JOHANNESBURG - Black Leopards are reportedly preparing to confirm the sacking of Zimbabwean coach Sunday Chidzambwa (pictured), with Ian Palmer believed to have already agreed a deal with the PSL club.

Chidzambwa, along with Bidvest Wits’ Thomas Sweswe and Method Mwanjali of Mamelodi Sundowns, have been handed life-long bans by the Zimbabwe Football Association for their alleged involvement in the match-fixing scandal which recently rocked the country.

Lidoda Duvha are now expected to part ways with the disgraced coach, while reports indicate former Maritzburg United tactician Palmer will be brought in ahead of next week’s PSL clash against Platinum Stars.

Leopards have confirmed they will hold a press conference on Tuesday where it is expected the announcement on Chidzambwa’s future at the club will be made. — KickOff.com
