Buffaloes beat Mambas
Monday, 05 November 2012 12:58
MUTARE - Prosper Matizanadzo scored two minutes into injury time as Buffaloes beat 10-man Black Mambas in the Castle Premiership yesterday.

Matizanadzo rose high to grab the solitary goal, connecting a cross from captain Dananai Chinowawa to ensure the Mutare-based army outfit stay in the top six.

The visitors’ Ben Nyahunzvi was sent off for a second bookable offence after flooring a goal-bound Phenias Bamusi in the 48th minute.

Nyahunzvi had been booked earlier for deliberate handball.

“Everyone was nervous towards the end of the game as we expected to have wrapped the game in the first half,” said Buffaloes coach Saul Chaminuka.

“We were on top but the goals failed to come. We could have won by a wider margin, but eventually we made it. I am pleased with the result.” - Sydney Saize
