Adam Ndlovu accident: deceased companion revealed
Wednesday, 19 December 2012 13:05
HARARE - The female companion who died alongside former Zimbabwe football international Adam Ndlovu has been identified as Nomqhele Tshili, a 24-year-old mom of one from Bulawayo.

The beauty from the City of King was traveling with brothers Adam and Peter from Bulawayo to Victoria Falls in the wee hours of Sunday morning when tragedy struck some 20 kilometres away from the resort town.

Adam died on the way to hospital while Nomqhele, whose exact relationship with the two brothers could not be ascertained yesterday, perished on the spot.

Peter escaped with serious injuries and was admitted to Mater Dei Hospital in Bulawayo, where is now reportedly in a stable condition.

Madinda Ndlovu, older brother of Adam and Peter, addressed a press conference in Bulawayo yesterday and professed ignorance over the young woman’s connection to his brothers.

“A tragic like this needs special care and attention and as the Ndlovu family, we admit that there was a third part in the car, it is our responsibility therefore to notify the bereaved family,” Madinda told reporters.

Personal information gleaned from social network sites shows that Nomqhele was educated at Gwanda High School in Matabeleland and Speciss College in Harare.

Socialites from Bulawayo say Nomqhele was not an all-too-familiar figure in social circles in the city, nor were she ever known for hanging around popular sports stars.

She was a member of the Harvest House Ministries, an international non-denominational church with branches globally. Mourners are currently gathered at her family home in North End, Bulawayo.
