Monday, 29 April 2013 12:08
HARARE - Associated Newspapers of Zimbabwe (ANZ), publishers of the Daily News and Daily News on Sunday, has awarded its top 10 vendors and country agents who have shown excellence in selling its products.

The group’s general manager, marketing and sales, Pilate Machadu said the awards are a way of expressing appreciation for the hard work and commitment shown by the vendors and agents.

“Our circulation has been growing at a tremendous rate which has enabled our products to attract more and more advertisers,” he said.

“We have penetrated all the four corners of Zimbabwe and the results are there for everyone to see. These dedicated partners play a critical role in the newspaper value chain. News cannot be news until it reaches its intended reader,” Machadu said.

Farai Katape, Witness Chakombera, Felistas Gogo, John Tsine and Innocent Samatinha were the top five vendors who received trophies and grocery hampers.

While Albert Mbewe of Masvingo, Brighton Manzunzu of Gweru, Benard Kamangira of Chinhoyi Pinky Sibanda of Kwekwe and Toperesu Mupasa of Bulawayo outdid also other agents across the country. - Staff Writer
