HARARE - Men from various Christian backgrounds are converging in Marondera for a conference hosted by Church of Christ Harare Region.

The men’s national conference commenced yesterday, October 11 and runs until October 14 at Karimazondo, Mhukahuru Lodges near Marondera. It has a stellar line up of guest speakers that include well-known banker Nigel Chanakira.

Chanakira, a renowned banker who founded one of the largest Zimbabwean-owned financial houses, Kingdom Financial Holdings will give a presentation on Doing Great Exploits for God; and Biblical Prosperity.

Congregational music, choirs and a highly-talented Harare Praise and Worship team led by Douglas Seremani and Limbikani Kopolo will grace the conference.

Speakers include Pastor Moses Chimuseu from Magunje Karoi, Jabulani Ndiweni from Bulawayo, Joseph Mafusire, Pastor Denford Chizanga, Justice Selo Nare from Bulawayo, Pastor Pearson Muvengwa from Matara in Zaka, Dr Collen Musasanure, a medical practitioner from Bulawayo, Mr Joseph Mafusire, a legal expert and others.

Apart from the intensive programme there will be recreational activities.

These will be varied from soccer, volleyball, game viewing, fishing and indoor games. A chairman’s trophy will be competed for by regional soccer teams. — Staff Writer
