Pastor Chris’ protégé to grace Zim
Monday, 15 April 2013 10:44
HARARE - Zimbabwe is set to host yet another high profile Christian leader with Christ Embassy’s Tom Amenkhienan arriving in the country on Friday.

Amenkhienan is the second in charge at Christ Embassy after Chris Oyakhilome, widely known as Pastor Chris.

Amenkhienan is set for a three-day programme at Harare’s City Sports Centre starting Friday in what local church leaders say will be a  “must attend” series.

Ruth Musarurwa, who leads the Christ Embassy local chapter said: “Reverend Tom, is dressed in Pastor Chris jacket, he is the eye and ear of the church. His coming to Zimbabwe is by the spirit of God. It’s not by might.”

Some of the eminent leaders to grace Zimbabwe so far are Joyce Meyer and the late Pope John Paul II who was leader of the Roman Catholic Church, on an African pilgrimage in 1988. - Albert Masaka
