HARARE - The Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority board has appointed Edson Chidziya director–general with effect from May 1.

Chidziya, who has been the director of Conservation, replaces Vitalis Chadenga who died in September last year.

Chidziya is a holder of an MSc. Environmental and Ecological Sciences degree from UK and a BSc Agriculture Honours degree from the University of Zimbabwe.
 
Chidziya has a wealth of experience in the conservation field spanning 23 years. - Staff Writer
