HARARE - Zimbabwe’s rising and notable luminary Jah Prayzah is currently working on his fourth album which has been described by his company as a surprise for his fans.

The 10 track self-titled album is expected any time before the year ends or early next year. Recorded at Diamond studio, the affectionate album will carry the song Cecelia that the band has been introducing during their live performances as a way of promoting the forthcoming release.

Speaking to the Daily News, his manager Filda Muchabaiwa said the project, yet to be titled is going to contain fireworks and will triple the quality that they have set for themselves in previous projects.

“We are currently working on a new album and we are playing some of the tracks during live shows so as to promote the album. As a band we are promising fans that we will keep them entertained and pledge to deliver entertainment to their door steps as it has always been,” she said.

The album is going to be released shortly before his videos that are also under production. There are other packages for those that follow our music and this will be in the form of videos that shot off the album Ngwarira Kupara. The video will be released early next year."

“We are taking our time to produce something of international standards to those that watched the video for Mari. They should be ready and expecting for something more than that,” she said.

Muchabaiwa who is planning to visit hospitals and children’s homes as part of their social responsibility said she is happy with the fast growing fan base which she said is a clear indication that they are making inroads in the country’s music industry.

“l see our band as a fast growing outfit. We are here to make a positive change not just in the country’s music industry but in other areas of concern. We are planning to extend a helping hand to those that need of our support. These include hospitals and children’s homes ,” she explained.

Jah Prayzah’s last project Ngwarira Kuparara is still shaking most joints as though it had just been released.

His other two albums Rudo Nerunyararo (2007) and Sungano Yerudo” (2009) afforded him the chance to explore greater heights.
