Wednesday, 28 November 2012 11:43
HARARE - Electronics Company GoldTech on Monday honoured two award-winning artistes Suluman Chimbetu and Jah Prayzah with Ipads as a token of appreciation for their recent awards.

The two musicians were honoured at the Victors Awards held in the capital on November 21, a success that the electronic company found worthy of appreciation.

“We have found it worthy to join the two successful musicians in celebrating their achievements and as an organisation we are giving them an ipad each as a token of appreciation.

“We wish them all the best in their endeavours,” said the company representative.

Sulu as Chimbetu is affectionately known in the showbiz will perform at Luton Dunstable on November 30 and Leicester on December 1.

He will proceed to Manchester the following week and then to Scotland.

Sulu scooped the Best Male Artiste while his friend Jah Prayzah walked away with Best Upcoming Artiste in music.

The launch by Suluman of his fourth and latest album Syllabus at Jazz 105 in Harare two weeks ago, seems to have opened luck to the soft-spoken musician.

Chimbetu left the country yesterday for the United Kingdom where he and his Orchestra Dendera Kings are billed to perform. - Vasco Chaya
