HARARE - In a rare concert duet, internationally-acclaimed mbira star Chiwoniso Maraire will perform with Ammara Brown, daughter of the late Andy Brown.

Ironically, Maraire was once married to Brown and had children together.

While Amara has her own mother, in our local tradition she passes as Chiwoniso’s daughter.

The synergy between the two will herald Book Café’s Saturday night gig.
