Creative writing workshop at Book Cafe
Monday, 10 September 2012 13:46
HARARE - Pamberi Trust’s Creative Writing workgroup invites all writers to gather in an informal “open space” at Book Café on Thursday, to explore different writing styles, hear from others, and learn to use writing exercises to enhance your work.

Prolific writer Petina Gappah will meet young writers at Book Café to share some personal insights and experiences.

This is intended as a monthly meet, and has already become popular following the first successful session on August 22 which was led by popular Zimbabwean writer Shimmer Chinodya and attended by more than 20 participants.

The workgroup began following a USPAS workshop for women writers on creative writing by the visiting IOWA Writers group earlier in August during Book Fair week, where valuable skills and material where shared — courtesy of US Embassy Harare.
