HARARE - Illustrious dancer Peter Kagomera, 24, has bounced back to Beverly Sibanda’s group Sexy Angels after being ditched for naughtiness and general unprofessionalism.

Harpers Mapimhidze the group manager confirmed the fast-paced dancer’s return to Bev’s erotic boogie troupe.

“Peter is a gifted dancer, the group made positive strides during his stint and for this reason we find it worthwhile to give him a second chance. He is currently rehearsing with the Sexy Angels,” said Mapimhidze.

Mapimhidze said the “Troublesome Child”, as Peter is affectionately known in entertainment circles, approached them seeking forgiveness.

“He said his wife gave him a lot of pressure and influenced him to plead for his job. So we gave him another chance since his wife is now staying in South Africa,” the manager said.

Kagomere had reportedly formed his own group, The Impossible.

“I am not aware of his new group, what I know is that he is not capable of running his own outfit because he lacks discipline. The truth is that he is now back with Sexy Angels and we hope he will take the group again to unprecedented levels,” said Mapimhidze.

Efforts to obtain a comment from Kagomera proved fruitless as his mobile phone was not reachable by the time of going to print.

Kagomera, who formerly lived on the streets hogged the limelight at Orchestra Mberikwazvo led by sungura ace Alick Macheso as a dancer before he was sacked for indiscipline.

The Sexy Angels offered him a job after considering his massive talent on stage but he did not stay as he was fired for the same reason.

The troublesome dancer recently completed community service work as part of his jail sentence after he bit a police officer who wanted to arrest him for being drunk, violent and disorderly.

His altercation with the police, among other problems, resulted in his job loss at the Orchestra Mberikwazvo outfit as he has been giving the management headaches every week.
